Hello, World!

As my coding friends know, "Hello World" is usually the first post to be created when starting out with a new language. It seems appropriate, and more literal than usual, to use it as the first entry in a blog about starting out on a cross-continental adventure.

So, to the world: hello, namaste, jhuley, ni hao. We're coming for you!
